Dry Cleaning
The term dry cleaning is a bit of a misnomer. The dry cleaning process actually refers to cleaning clothes and fabrics by using a chemical solvent that contains little or no water. While cleaning the surface of fabrics, these chemical solvents do not penetrate the fibers like water does in a regular washing machine.
Dry cleaning is typically used on clothes and fabrics that cannot withstand the rigors of a standard home washer and dryer. The “dry clean” process preserves the desirable qualities of finer fabrics and helps to prevent shrinking and stretching. It also eliminates the need for more time-consuming hand washing.

Wet Cleaning
Wet cleaning refers to methods of professional cleaning that, in contrast to traditional dry cleaning, avoids the use of chemical solvents.
Computer-controlled wet cleaning machines, special dryers, safe detergents and non-toxic spot removers are what make wet cleaning an environmentally sound method. Wet cleaning machines have controls that allow them to safely and efficiently clean a wide variety of garments in water without causing color loss, shrinkage or stretching. The proper equipment, detergents and skill all contribute to successful wet cleaning.

Comforters and Household Items
Our professional cleaner will inspect your comforters and household items to determine the best method for cleaning. Once the method is determined the item will be treated for stains and loaded individually into our Dry Clean or Wet Clean systems. Although it increases our costs, we run small loads and never mix your bedding items with other customer’s items. This insures that we get the best cleaning and drying cycle possible. The items are then fluffed, packaged and returned to you both fresh and soft.

Restoration Services
Do you have a cherished garment that has permanent stains, has yellowed over time or seems to be beyond repair? Our professional dry cleaner will inspect your garment and provide you a quote to attempt to restore the garment to the best of our ability. Many times we are able to return the garment to a "like new" condition. We can also prepare your vintage garments for display as "keepsakes" in your favorite shadow box.
